There appears to have been a difference of opinion about the future of
MiniMe versus PCLOS (PCLinuxOS). No details. No explanation except

MiniMe seemed, to me based on mailing list and blog posts, a very
powerful "tiny" distro where a really technically sharp person could
add their own features/functions smoothly, seamlessly and
transparently. Knoppix came loaded with features/functions but now it
is approaching bloat trying to please everyone. Still works for me...
I liked it much better than DSL even though DSL is more advanced as a
deliverable distro.
People who use MiniMe seem to want it to move more in a technical
direction. IMHO, PCLOS is headed more toward the Windows "killer"
market. Time will tell...
