Enable the accelerated ATI graphics driver in the 'Hardware Drivers'
(System->Hardware drivers), then do:

$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh linux-restricted-modules-`uname -r`
$ sudo insmod /lib/modules/`uname -r`/volatile/fglrx.ko
