Preliminary/on-going testing/searching has ...
    not discovered any cause within the document (as yet)
    tended to implicate this particular document over any other for the 
issue
    not shown a consistency of error with this document - the error 
tends to occur more in the morning when the X session has been restarted 
and OpenOffice has just been started for the first time of the specific day
... example:
    if the X session has been running, and OpenOffice has been started 
earlier under this same session, the error does not appear.
