At this point the question I have is "How much time have you invested
and what's the cost of new hardware?" Without the answers to those
questions I wouldn't make a suggestion. With Win98SE as the previous OS
it doesn't sound like a motherboard and RAM replacement would cost too
much. I've tried to help people before by avoiding cost and it has
turned into a fiasco.
