I use amarok and find it is pretty complete if you are looking for audio only. It ties together local files, online radio and podcasts all in the same GUI.
The negatives are that Amarok doesn't do video well (some earlier versions did a better job.) It also doesn't have any podcast discovery client in it (like miro).
