[NTLUG:Discuss] mythTV and ubuntu 10.04

Hello,
   My new experiment is setting up mythTV, but sure do need help!
I don't want to buy a new computer from Dell and learn win7 and MCE!
I have a dell 4550 dimension with XP home, works great.
A dedicated HD with Ubuntu 10.04, works great..

Will this old dell work with the proper TV tuner card?
So many questions - so few answers!!
Can anyone help.
