In a word, yes, especially since the shopping cart is separate, as is the
credit card processing. Basically what I am creating is a portal with my
content that funnels the customers to the next stage and then, if they are
interested, they are handed over to the processing site which does the
checkout. 1-2-3 simple. 

My objective is to make the initial presentation (the home page) to work
the way I want it to.
