Allen,
I am glad I could help and it is nice that someone notices. I have
learned a lot in the group myself. I have posted questions a number of
times and gotten smart answers from the Linux experts in our group.
When I started with NTLUG, I was a Windows user who was a little annoyed
with Microsoft. I don't think I could be nearly as happy using Linux
daily were it not for all the assistance I have gotten here. We are
especially lucky to have someone as knowledgeable as Chris Cox leading
the group and teaching as many meetings as he does. He still amazes me.
I mentioned at the last meeting that I would put my article from the
NTPCUG newsletter on our web site as an article. The article was on
installing and customizing Ubuntu, focusing on security and usability.
I did that tonight. If you have comments on how to make it better, or
some more hints that ought to be there, let me know. I am not a PMWiki
expert, so I only did basic formatting and I hope to make it look better
over time. Chris put my last article up and it looks great. I wanted
to try this one, so I can figure out how he made it look so good.
Have a good day,
Ralph
