[NTLUG:Discuss] Android and specific PC mfg. versions

This is a last resort for me in terms of being able to use/enjoy Android as
at my advanced age unlikely I will get away from this Toshiba L675.
I am running both Ubuntu as well as dream Linux both wirelessly. In an
effort to install android OS I choose android x86-4.0-RC2-tx2500 not
realizing its design was for an HP. I managed to install it on virtualbox
(everything works but Wi-Fi) and at that point I realized what I had done.
Please be advised I have googled, gone to several forums with no success
thus far. I doubt if I can get this present endeavor to recognize Wi-Fi
however I must ask is there a way and short of that is there a specific
version that has any chance of working on this Toshiba.
