I'll recommend dreamhost.com. If you use me (my email) as a referrer, I get some
kick back. Or click and sign up through the url below.

Why I have a dreamhost account. They over commit. Now, that sounds bad, but
what it means is that after awhile you end up with a ton of disk space and a ton
of bandwidth. I've used dreamhost for serving up high res vid captures, etc..
very convenient and IMHO, relatively cheap.

I've been with them for a few years now.. and this is what they "say" I
currently have:

1021.48 GB of disk (yep... that 1TB, grows by 2G/week)

19.94 TB of bandwidth (yep.. that's per month, grows by 40GB/week)

My plan is the Code Monster, which I got somewhat discounted, so my price is
$16/mos. Seems they now just offer a flat "Shared Hosting" plan at $8.95/mo.
Anyhow.. check it out: http://dreamhost.com/web-hosting/

(I may be overpaying.. I'll have to review my account with them.. anyway,
$16/mo. for what I got was cheap at the time, it may even be cheaper)

If you do choose them, you can setup multiple users even with shell access.. and
you could even configure each to have their own website under your domain very
easily.

They have pretty good server side email filtering and offer a ton of services
(packages you can use/install). They offer a common https cert you can use or
you can use your own.. there's just a ton of things they offer. Recommend that
you explore.

Are they the most reliable? Well.. they do occasionally have glitches, but you
know ... they do seem to be getting better.

And they are Debian based!

Simple website? You can build whatever you want with them.. they provide pretty
much the works...
