I use Virtualbox on Ubuntu 10.3. Very pleased with it. easy to add and
remove machines and the assets allocated to them. I can change the
allocation of the assets of my machines with no problems and only the
assets of a os running in a virtualbox affects the assets available to
my main computer. It is very flexible. I have share files between my
main OS and Windows or whatever virtual machine I chose to run. It is
very flexible when used with its extension.
Good Luck & have fun.
