Memory would be the main thing, I think, and is pretty cheap right now.
Of course you'll need enough disk to store all of the images. If you
are buying an SSD, you might feel some constraint. Any HDD is going to
be plenty big.
For CPU, make sure you have hardware virtualiztion support, AMD-Vi or
Intel VT-d. If you are DIY, you should be fine. If you are buying
something like a Dell, you'll have to dig a little deeper.
