Nope.  FIOS is fiber all the way to the box (ONT) on or in the house 
that outputs the CAT5 connection for ethernet, RG Coax for the TV Set 
top box (STB), and the POTS Line connection for the wired phones.  Also, 
Verizon's Router box also provides a coax connection to be added to the 
coax coming into the STB so that the box can also gets its dynamic IP, 
listings, and other interactive data through the Ethernet Connection.  I 
don't think the STB uses the Coax connection (other than to talk to 
Verizon's router relaying info from/to the CAT5 connections) for its 
listings, etc.
