Hi,
The next NTLUG meeting will be Saturday, August 15. We will be making
another field trip to the Raspberry Pi User Group at their usual meeting
place, the University of Texas at Dallas.
The meeting place is: Engineering and Computer Science South (ECSS) Room
2.410.
The UTD street address is: 800 West Campbell Road in Richardson.
The 10 am presentation is "Raspberry Pi Clustering: A Framework for
Parallel Processing", presented by Walter Anderson.
We plan to meet back at the Dallas Makerspace on September 19. We need to
elect Board members. The Board elects the Officers. You can be both an
Officer and a Board member.
The map for UTD building and parking locations is at:

Unless you know the campus, the map will be very useful. Be aware that
parking lot redecoration and repair is going on, so the above map is only a
guide to parking. Plan to arrive a little early.
The meeting is from 10 am until 3 pm, with a break for lunch (on your
own) from 12 until 1.
For more details, including exact location and parking, see
<http://brandenburgtech.com/>.
In case you want to buy a Pi, Micro Center in Richardson has the Model
2 B for $30. They have a model B+ for $25. (Thanks, Ralph!)
The 2015 Texas Linux Fest will be held at the San Marcos Convention
Center, on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22. Registration
is now open, and information is available at
<http://2015.texaslinuxfest.org/>.
