[NTLUG:Discuss] NTLUG meeting August 15, 2015

Howdy,
  Thank you Stuart, for the announcement.  Let me clarify a few things.

  The meeting in August will be our last joint meeting with the
Raspberry Pi group for now.  We actually extended it a month because
their August meeting looked cool.  We will all be participating in a
Pi cluster.  If you want to participate, bring your Pi with monitor
and keyboard.  Sd cards with the cluster image will be available at
the meeting.  I guess you can bring a mouse, but I don't know that it
is needed.  An ethernet cable might be good, if I understand the
proposed setup.

  In September, we will meet back at Dallas Makerspace again.  We will
be electing Board of Directors members.  I believe we will elect more
Board members later in the year.  The nominated members for the Board
at the September meeting are:
  Ralph Green,
  Chuck Graff,
  Kirk Schneider, and
  Stuart Yarus

 At the September meeting, we will also discuss future meeting plans.  We could
 1. return to 3rd Saturday at DMS
 2. Move the meeting to 4th Saturday and stay at DMS
 3. Move to some other loaction
 The reason for considering moving the date is so people can
participate in the Raspberry Pi group on a regular basis.  The reason
for considering moving locations is because of unfriendly behaviour by
the Board of Dallas Makerspace.  No matter how poorly I was treated by
the Board of DMS, I want NTLUG to meet where we will have the most
participation among our members.

 We can talk about any of this in August, but we won't take any action
until September.
