I'm not sure if this was covered while I was bounced offline during the
talk Q/A time. There was a discussion about good Laptops for Linux.

I'm personally running a couple ASUS N76 laptops that have worked well
for me for several years running both Fedora and Mint Linux. The tricky
aspect of this hardware has been the hybrid NVIDIA graphics support.
I've used the bumblebee project setup on both Fedora and Mint:
https://bumblebee-project.org/
However the more native (and easy) nouveau drivers have worked well for
my more recent Mint installs.

I have not tried it myself, but have heard good things about Dell's
Sputnik project:
https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000178032/ubuntu-based-developer-and-engineering-systems-project-sputnik
Currently they advertise an XPS 13 laptop preloaded with Ubuntu 20.04
on the business side of their website.
(Disclosure: They also gave me a free Sputnik t-shirt at a past conference)

As others had mentioned I had good experiences with older IBM ThinkPads
in the past, but I've not tried with the more recent Lenovo ThinkPads.

Lenny, thanks again for a great talk!
