Hi:
I do not know if you solve the problem.
There are 2 ways you may want to try.
1. after use the Xconfigurator, go to the config. file, delete the
"1024x768" mode at 'vga16' or 'svag'section ... and restart x.
2. during the Xconfigurator configurates the X, at the monitor step,
pick up the volue smaller then your monitor's (Vertical and
Horizental Freq.) At monitor resulation step, just pick up the one you want
("800x600"), and leave others alone.
3. vedio card may or may not related th problem, check with your vedio
card's vender, to see if special key word need to be added on the config.
file.
