For future reference, consider either Altex Electronics in
Farmer's Branch or Graybar in Dallas. They're your more
serious electronics hardware store and not the kind of
stuff you get at Radio Shack. They are also usually much
cheaper than RS or the computer superstores. Graybar
is where the phone techs go buy the stuff they install in
your house. ;-) While it is run as a business-to-business
place, if you walk in, tell them what you want and pay
in cash/check/credit card, they don't care that you're
not a business. They -do- have aisles of parts you
can browse but much, much more behind the counter.
