Wow!!! I just had to pass this on -
I just bought a pair of D-Link ethernet adaptors - plugged them
into my PC's - struggled for a while (without luck) to find the
appropriate drivers in the SuSE 6.3 stuff - got depressed, emailed
a couple of people who seemed likely to be able to tell me which
drivers to use - no luck.
I was on the point of taking the 20 mile round-trip to Fry's to
change them for something with support when I thought to check
the D-Link web site....(Well - duh! I hear you say.)
It said "The drivers for Linux are on the diskette that comes
with the board"....
WOW! That's the first ever hardware product I've bought that
has Linux support *IN*THE*BOX*!!
Qudos to D-Link.
(Now if only they'd have printed a little penguin on the box
somewhere!)
