Don't know if I can get myself counted as a newbie or not:)  But

I'd suggest a rather extensive section on dual boot and Winxx Linux
enabling tools such as Wine, VMware, etc.  I've talked to allot of, non
technical, people that the idea of trying Linux is just too
intimidating.  However, given an environment that provides both the
familiar and the new together is something they feel confident enough to
tackle.
