init 2? init 2 is more or less useless (unless you are using NFS). init 1
is single user, init 3 is multiuser CLI, init 5 is multiuser X, init 6 is
reboot and init 0 is halt... init 4 is not used. technically init 2 is
not really used either but defined at multiuser w/o nfs...
