[NTLUG:Discuss] Remote X server with RH 7.2

Has anyone been successful in configuring a RH 7.2 box for use by a remote 
X server?  I've got this working on RH 6.0, 6.2, Solaris, and FreeBSD but 
7.2 has bamboozled me.  I have enabled XMDCP in gdm.conf and fixed Xaccess 
to allow remote hosts.  I get a response from a broadcast query that says 
my box is responding but when I try to bring X up, I don't get a response.
