Additional note - for those that may care:
I did forget to mention that in the logo, the hat was always red, as it
should be (not the red-brown shown in the color bar as red), and the
silhouette of the man (under the hat) was sometimes gray, sometimes
white, and sometimes in between.
For now I have selected the HP DeskJet 1600CM cdj1600 driver, as
delivering the best all round results, though several others might have
done as well. The color questions in the original note (below) still
remain.
