Spammers want volume.  Your get volume by having as many mail servers as 
you can sending the mail.

With sendmail you can have your @addr masqueraded to your actual recieve 
address so that the machine that put it out there is not identified. 
This way when the reciever does an MX lookup it sees the valid record 
where your account is located.
