[NTLUG:Discuss] video problems

Today, I am basically re-installing without any windows manager,
except for ClassicX. I do like GNOME, but also noticed that it takes
a whole lot of hard drive space. We only have a 1.6 GB drive.

I also think that my hard drive is a bottleneck. It's probably just an
ATA33.

I want to thank for all the suggestions. I hadn't heard of Peanut
Linux.

I also had the problem of having the tower set right next to the
monitor. I have changed that as well.

I certainly didn't want to give the impression, by the way, that I don't
enjoy this job. Many of the intangibles are great. I especially like that
I can bring something like Linux into the organization and initiate my
own projects (which is what I have done here).

We're running Netware 5 for our only server. I recently learned that
Netware ships with Apache.

Chris
