[NTLUG:Discuss] DBD Driver Installation Issue

My apologies, I've posted this several times to comp.lang.perl.modules
with no joy. I'm getting very close to deadline, and don't know the answer.

On Solaris 2.8, Ingres 2.5, attempt to intall DBD-Ingres-0.32 gave this:

install_driver(Ingres) failed: Can't load
'/export/software/tools/DBD-Ingres-0.32/blib/arch/auto/DBD/Ingres/Ingres.so'

for module DBD::Ingres: ld.so.1: /usr/local/bin/perl: fatal: relocation
error: file /emc/ahd_system/ingres/lib/libcompat.1.so: symbol
clock_gettime: referenced symbol not found at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0/sun4-solaris/DynaLoader.pm line 229.

Is this an indication of incompatibility with Ingres 2.5, or some other
problem? How do I fix this? Thanks much,
