Howdy,
I am using Evolution 1.08. I see that I have the terminology a little
bit off. The effect is the same, but I was not describing it right. In
Eudora, there is a setting called "Return Address". That is what I need to
set. I don't see a place to set that in Evolution, but I will study the
manual to see if I missed it.
I need to set it because my incoming mail come through a mail
redirection service. That gives me a permanent email address, even though
I have changed ISP several times(mostly because they went out of
business). So all my email needs to be sent to severian at pobox.com. But,
pobox.com has no smtp server for me to send email to(even if I wanted
to). I have to send out through my ISP with a different address.
Looking at my message posted to the list, I see that the From field is
always my Eudora "Return Address".
Good day,
Ralph Green, Jr.
