I'd like to echo that.. my last setup with attbi was a complete
nightmare. They refused to deal with me once they asked the question
"What operaing system do you use?" and my answser wasn't any version of
windows... I don't have *any* machines that still have windows on them
in the house so they ended up giving me one of the old type modems that
worked fine in my last residence and of course works fine here as well.
Also attbi has been terrible with their billing with me. When I moved
last time I told them to change my service from location A to location
B... well 6 months later they hit me with a huge bill.. they were
charging me for service at both locations.. I had to jump through
several hoops to get it straightened out, but last month when comcast
bought them guess what? More billing problems.. they're back to wanting
all that money again..
I think speakeasy is looking better and better all the time.
