Actually, I was unsure which technology you were asking about.
Clustering, grid, parallel, message passing, distributed, ...
I was trying to get a better understanding of the problem to be
solved. The subject title indicates a message passing scheme
need. Unless of course you are refering to the scattering one's 
molecules and reassembling them.  

I see in a later post that there is a need described involving 
authenticating a user. Perhaps it's just an example to illustrate 
the logic flow and not an actual need (ie: is there really a 
bottleneck with authentication that requires a FARM to satisfy?).

I'll need to continue this topic later (I'm at work right now)...
