[NTLUG:Discuss] Install Help, please

Greetings.

I am bringing two of my systems in to the install project tomorrow, looking for some assistance.

System 1:
Dual AMD 2Ghz MP CPUs
    Needs an upgrade to SuSE 8.2 (from SuSE 8.0)
    My wife would like to know how to install games on it, such as (especially) HalfLife.

Laptop (1.2Ghz P4)
    Trying to install CD Burner on it (may need to recompile kernel or reinstall OS?)
    Built in Wireless on internal PCMCIA, would like to get this working as well.

Assistance from anyone who would like to play with it tommorrow morning would be appreciated.
