I haven't experienced the Nautilus memory leak, but I don't have the
original post so I don't know if I am replicating the situation
accurately.
I had low expectations for the final M9.2 because of the various bugs I
was encountering in the release candidates 1 & 2. I do get the
impression at times that Mandrake is rushing things. But still, at least
for the 2 days that I've been using M9.2 (as an upgrade from a M9.1
install), it is a nice minor upgrade to 9.1. Its desktop environment is
definitely sharper and more refined looking than 9.1 (at least from a
GNOME user's perspective).
I've had some minor troubles so far. I couldn't find the kernel source
that came with the ISOs (2.4.22-11mdk ?) to rebuild my NVIDIA drivers so
I had to download the 2.4.22-21mdk kernel update and its source and used
those. Some Gnome applet launchers from my 9.1 setup would error out and
had to be manually reloaded into my panels. Mounting my samba shares via
mount -t smbfs no longer worked and I had to use smbmount2 instead.
