[NTLUG:Discuss] Novell acquires SUSE Linux

I think this is a good thing, though there are still lots of questions.
They bought Ximian, and now they are buying SuSE who happen to be big
time supporters of KDE. I used to use Gnome when I first started using
Linux, but have since switched to KDE about 2 years ago. Now that they
own SuSE do they plan on porting Notes to Linux or do they plan on
migration to OpenExchange Server or maintaining them both in parallel.
That question goes for Netware too. Do they plan on keeping Netware,
moving to Linux , or maintain both of them.
I think this will be interesting to see how it plays out. There will be
2 major distributions with enterprise level support. I'm sure IBM will
like this move, but RedHat may not.
Do we get Novell 7L like AIX 5L? :)
