Chuck,
I cut my teeth on Mandrake and loved it. But, every time I did an update
it screwed up all sorts of stuff.
I quit Mandrake for this reason alone. I went to red hat and they
decided to stick it to the little guys like me.
So I'm looking for something else.
So... the answer is No! It is not and isolated case. It happened every
time I tried an update.
