[NTLUG:Discuss] odd log in log out event

Check the user's login directory and startup files--there may be
an error with one of them.  Some things to look for:
   - write permission to the home directory
   - write permission to temporary directories
   - startup-errors log files
   - if the system has quotas, make sure the user hasn't used all of the quota
