I built something similar for LEAP (Orlando LUG) during the 2001 (I believe) CTS event
I now jus refer people to your site, even if they are going to download the individual software.
Again, be sure to read the first two 2005 issues of Sys Admin magazine.
It's not on TheOpenCD per se (Sys Admin is written for UNIX/Linux admins), but I hope it will be a great reference for selling management.

Thanks for the post on TheOpenCD. This really is the best option for
those of us who want to educate others to the opensource concept but
know that the end-user isn't ready to take on the linux struggle
themselves. Running open applications on windows systems is most
definitely a step that any computer user can do right away without any
additional effort. The fact is that we are computer enthusiasts and
professionals where as the masses are simply users. No change will ever
take place unless these users will adopt it and that means it must be
"hassle-free"(i.e. reliable and intuitive) in their eyes.
I've been trying to advocate much of this software separately to my
friends, family, and coworkers, but having it all in one CD is so much
more effective since I can burn it and pass it around instead of hoping
that someone will put forth the effort of looking-for and downloading
the apps themselves.
Open source software still has a hard road to hoe as far as being widely
accepted as legitimate and viable, especially in corporate settings, but
efforts like this is how lasting change will be made.
