Have not tried that, but it would be a limit.  I don't do much in the 
way of graphics, so 3D access would not be an issue for me.

Not really... dual boot would work... just trying to steer you away from 
dual boot (you are one of the few that do need it)... and steer you away 
from Vista (from what I've read its not ready for prime time).
