[NTLUG:Discuss] Centos clean ndiswrapper config

Hi guys,

I'm fairly new to Linux as a workstation, I switched a couple of 3
months ago but will hopefully never switch back if I have a say in it.

I selected Centos 5 64bits for my distro on a Dell Latitude D630 laptop.

Everything is working great except for the wireless in certain
circumstances. I've install dkms-ndiswrapper-1.53-1.el5.rf (32bits) and
configured it ok because it works without an encrypted key.

Now, it somewhat accepts a WEP key and provides a local IP but I can't
get it to be configured properly the DNS/DHCP properly for wlan0. eth0
works great.

I've been reading a lot about it for days and I think I'm at the point
where I did too much test and found myself lost in the process.

All I'm actually asking is to know if there is someone out there that is
using Centos 5 (RHES5 is ok too ;o) and that has configured wlan0 using
ndiswrapper or native wireless driver and that can switch back and forth
between a wired connection and the wireless. If that person exist, could
I compare my config with him/her ...

I'll keep banging on this but any help is welcome

Thanks in Advance !

Laurent
