Actually I have had two Belkin UPS units go bad since moving in this house.
I pulled the card (BFG 6200 nvidia) and put it in a spare box and it worked
straight away. Then I dug up a GeForce 4 and no go. I am thinking the MOBO
may be the culprit, but with no on-board video and dead AGP I can't get 
to the BIOS.
I might have to hunt down a PCI card.

The current monitor is a Westinghouse L1975NW
The spare is an NEC FE700+
