Unless I'm missing something this is basically a hardware question.  If 
I'm correct another option is HP's "Contact Us" page:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/contacthp?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us

Presumably during the business day (however that's defined) you could 
chat with support representatives but you can also email them (or 
call).  If you find out that 4GB cards aren't supported then the OS is 
irrelevant.  If they are supported then the question isn't off-topic at all.
