Thank you ... although Konqueror (on my box anyway) botched the accent
characters even worse, that thought set in the direction of a solution
... from Epiphany I can paste to 'vi' and then to OOo, or directly to
OOo ... the result is a bit different, but the accent characters are
good! Thanks
